Shandy + Payte

I know that God is in charge of choosing my clients for me and I rely on that mercy every day. With every client, I witness His blessings through the joy and love they bring into my life.  Shandy and Payte are wonderful examples of that love and I am so pleased to be able to share a glimpse of that with you.

They have a beautiful ranch outside of Floydada and I was privileged to visit for their engagement session. We battled a few sticker burrs and mighty bulls, but it was all completely worth it. This October has been surprisingly beautiful because of a God-send of rainfall in the last month. There has been more color in this fall month than most of summer and spring put together! The ranch was sprinkled with green grass, yellow flowers and little pools of water that gave us plenty of picturesque locations. Enough of me chatting about this glorious day… here are a couple of my favorites. Enjoy!

Beautiful!! Shandy and Payte are perfect for each other.

Noah

Noah is really a boy after my own heart. He absolutely loves cameras so he was very excited when I offered him an opportunity to look at one of my vintage ones.  He checks out all of the buttons and knobs until he feels like he knows the equipment and then pretends to snap away.

It makes me excited to think that I will be able to teach him all sorts of things one day when he is ready.

I always look so forward to your posts. And you never, never, never, ever disappoint. :)

Natalie

My mom bought Natalie a new lace dress and I couldn’t resist the chance to have a little session with her. As you know, I am a sucker for anything white and lace.

The modeling fee was quite manageable as Natalie only charged one dollar, a mini snickers bar and some bubble painting.

Such a beautiful little girl. Love these. Please tell your dad that I think the big front teeth picture needs a special place in his office. :)

You sure have two gorgeous children, Amy-Rose! =) And Noah is getting so old and big; how can that be possible??

Hope you’re doing well!

Seattle

My photographer/girls trip to Seattle was exactly what I needed to refresh my spirit. Everything was perfect from the company I was with, to the warm sunny weather, the food and the beautiful apartment that we stayed in. I experienced a lot of favorites while I was there including sushi, artisan pizzas, coffee , icecream, dinner on the piers and so much more.

Ashley & Kara were intent on converting me to Instagram so I am attempting to work on that. Look me up if you’re a ‘Grammer’!

So warm and pretty. Glad you had a chance for a refresher! :) I’ve never been to Seattle, but if I go, I’ll make sure to ask you for recommendations first!

I’ve been a fan of your blog and of your photography for quite some time! I recently got a {bit} addicted to Instagram, even though when I first got it, I didn’t know what all the fuss was about. It’s actually a great creative community. Do you have a user name yet, I’d love to follow you in that arena as well. :)

My username is amyrosek …. I look forward to seeing you on the gram!

Meet Brittany & Brent

I am headed to Seattle tomorrow (!!!) but wanted to get in a blog post in before I left. I am so pleased to share some of Brittany & Brent’s engagement session. They are madly in love and I am pretty sure you will be able to tell. Not only are they extremely photogenic, but they are also very comfortable in front of the camera which always makes for an extra fun shoot. Here is a tiny glimpse into their romance. Enjoy!!!
