Cherise + Brady… The Wedding

From the moment that Cherise booked me for this wedding, I knew it was going to be a fabulous event to remember. All of the details were beautiful including the rain that surprised us all. I have decided that if it rained more often I would love it, even though I am completely a sunshine girl. I just had no idea the bokeh heaven that I would get to be in when I did the couple shots (you know how much I love good bokeh!).

Not only were the obvious details perfect, but I was privileged to work with some absolutely amazing people for this wedding. Ashley Rodgers, my best friend and second shooter, was by my side for this busy day and I wouldn’t want it any other way. She is absolutely the best! We got to work with Clayton Stringer of Stringer Productions, who was the videographer for this wedding. He is an amazing professional and I wish all of my future weddings would hire him. I also want to throw a HUGE shout out to Jill Leven of ‘Eat, Drink and be Marry’. She is a fabulous wedding coordinator… probably best the in Texas! It is so hard to find a good(!) wedding coordinator and I would recommend her first without any hesitation. * See a complete vendor list at the end of the post for any other details from the wedding.

Cake: Aunt Norie’s Confections ;  Music: Lubbock Texas Rhythm Machine ; Flowers: College Flowers ; Hotel: Overton Hotel ; Transportation: Limousines of Lubbock  ; Church: LakeRidge United Methodist Church ; Wedding Coordinator : Eat, Drink and be Marry ; Videographer: Stringer Productions

What a lovely bride that she picked adorable dresses for her bridesmaids! I would be totally willing to pay for and keep one of those dresses!

You’re right, the rain made for some yummy bokeh! I especially like the ones were he is holding her! ;) Congratulations to a beautiful couple!

I took up photography and photoshop etc. to fight senality after I retired. I’m lucky enough to make a little money for my toys in addition to enjoying every minute.

I’ve looked at photographers site hour after hour year after year. Yours is my very favorite. Your expertice is obvious but the most important is your eye. You capture the moment, along with the personality of every one you photograph. Your uncanny artistic ability and the way you capture the very soul of you subject is so admirable. I never write these things but just couldn’t resist. Your work in my eyes is amazing.
